1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the MTF Calculator and MTF News pages (together, "the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Independent, educational tool — not financial advice

The Site is an independent, self-contained educational utility. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or representing any stockbroker, stock exchange, depository, clearing corporation, or other financial institution, and should not be construed as a product or service of any such entity.

Nothing on this Site constitutes investment, trading, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to use Margin Trading Facility. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make.

3. Calculator results are estimates only

• Figures shown (margin, buying power, interest, leverage, break-even, profit/loss scenarios) are illustrative estimates based on the inputs you provide and a simple daily-interest formula; they do not reflect any specific broker's actual terms.
• Actual MTF margin percentages, interest rates, billing cycles, eligible securities and other charges vary by broker and are governed by SEBI and exchange (NSE/BSE) regulations, and may change without notice.
• The calculator excludes brokerage, transaction charges, STT, GST, stamp duty and other statutory levies unless you manually enter them under "Additional charges" — your actual cost of trading will differ.
• Trading with margin/leverage amplifies both gains and losses and may result in losses exceeding the amount originally placed as margin. Pledged securities may be subject to margin calls or involuntary liquidation.

4. MTF News content

The MTF News page automatically aggregates publicly available third-party news headlines that mention "Margin Trading Facility" / "MTF" using a public news search feed. Headlines, descriptions, and linked articles belong to their respective original publishers. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party news content, and inclusion of a headline does not imply endorsement by us or by any entity named in it.

5. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will match real-world broker outcomes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including any trading or financial losses resulting from reliance on calculator outputs or news content displayed here.

7. Your responsibilities

• Verify all margin requirements, interest rates, and charges directly with your own broker before trading.
• Read your broker's Risk Disclosure Document (RDD) and MTF agreement before using Margin Trading Facility.
• Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser for personalized advice if needed.
• Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
