1. Who we are

The MTF Calculator ("we", "our", "the Site") is an independent, educational web tool that helps users estimate Margin Trading Facility (MTF) costs and outcomes, and aggregates publicly available MTF-related news. We are not affiliated with, operated by, or representing any stockbroker, exchange, depository, or financial institution. This policy explains what information the Site collects when you use it and how that information is handled.

2. Information we collect

Calculator inputs. Figures you enter into the calculator (investment amount, leverage, holding period, interest rate, additional charges) are processed entirely in your browser to compute results. They are not transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us.

Usage analytics. We use Google Tag Manager (GTM), which may load analytics or measurement tags (such as Google Analytics) on our behalf. These tags can collect standard web-analytics data — pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location (derived from IP address), referring site, and on-site interactions — to help us understand how the Site is used and improve it. This data is typically aggregated and not used to personally identify you.

Cookies & local storage. The Site uses your browser'ssessionStorageto remember that you closed the promotional banner (so it doesn't reappear every page load within the same session/day). Analytics tags loaded via GTM may also set their own cookies.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not require account creation, do not ask for your name, email, phone number, PAN, trading account details, or any financial credentials to use the calculator or read the news feed. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

4. How we use information

Any analytics data collected via GTM/Google Analytics is used only to:

• Understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g. which pages are popular).
• Diagnose technical issues and improve site performance.
• Measure the effectiveness of on-site content and navigation.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use this Site to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.

5. Data retention & security

Since the calculator does not transmit your inputs to our servers, there is nothing for us to retain from that interaction. Any analytics data is retained and secured according to the relevant third-party provider's (e.g. Google's) standard retention settings. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any data.

• You can use browser extensions or settings (e.g. Google's Analytics opt-out) to limit analytics tracking.
